Guest Rooms
Hunting for prized trophies in the rugged African wilderness is hard work, which deserves a suitable reward when returning to camp. That is why we don’t want guests to spend their nights in hastily constructed camps, but rather in the comfort of first class thatched roof chalets that include every convenience to help you relax and re-energize for the next day’s activities. All chalets are equipped with hot and cold running water, showers, flush toilets, electricity, comfortable beds, all linens and towels, and a small safe for your valuables.
HONEYMOON Suite
When experiencing the adventure of a lifetime, why not afford yourself the ultimate in luxury? Our Luxury/Honeymoon Suite will live up to all you desire and more. With the finest décor and beautiful finishes and accessories, kick back and relax in this beautiful chalet that includes a jacuzzi hot tub. If you are celebrating a special occasion, such as a honeymoon or anniversary, you can spend your African hunting safari adventure in the lap of luxury for a minimal additional cost of only $25.00 per night.

After spending a day under the beautiful blue skies and hot African sun, nothing is more refreshing or revitalizing than taking a dip in the deluxe Lodge swimming pool. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, non-hunters can find escape while enjoying a good book around the pool too. Finding extreme relaxation is no further than spending some down time in our Lodge hot tub. Simply request the staff to prepare it with 24 hours’ notice.
LOUNGE, BAR & Boma
African cultures have been grown around the traditions of community and spending time together around a fire. At Cruiser Safaris we continue these traditions by offering a lounge and bar area set under traditional thatched roofing, where one can enjoy a drink and wind down before enjoying an elegant dinner. Hunters and other adventure seekers can also spend time under the African starlight, around a roaring fire in our Boma, to tell stories and relive the best moments from the day’s hunt.

Whether enjoying the spoils of fresh game from the day’s hunt, home grown produce, fine wines or delectable desserts, one thing is for certain: mealtimes are an event in and of itself at Cruiser Safaris. Waterberg
Boat safaris
For a different type of outdoor adventure, or to take a break from the hunt, Waterberg Boat Safaris offers pontoon rides on the Mokolo Dam. While cruising on the 7-meter pontoon, you will be treated to breath-taking views, wonderful birdlife, and spectacular sunsets. Pilanesberg
National park
Located in the basin formed by an extinct volcano millions of years ago, the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve is one of South Africa’s premier tourist destinations. The fourth largest reserve in the country, with over 125 miles of roads for self-drives or guided tours, and a compliment of over 10,000 animals, and so much more, Pilanesberg is worth a visit for any nature lovers. The cost for this day trip is $50.00 pp plus admission.
Marakele
Experience
Marakele, in the Tswana language, means “a place of sanctuary” and has become a popular destination for the visitors to the area. The experience combines visits to two parks, starting with the Marakele National Park. Experience all the wild animals the reserve has on offer and have a picnic lunch over breath-taking scenery. Next you get to experience the Marakele Predator Park tour, where you are able to get up close to predators not easily found in the wild.

Welgevonden is home to more than 65 mammal species. While these include the famous Big Five, it is the rare and unusual species like cheetah, brown hyena, caracal, aardwolf, and aardvark that make game drives exceptionally exciting. Welgevonden sports a diverse range of habitat types that support a riot of biodiversity, including over 300 different birds! From cheetah-loved grasslands and savannahs to leafy wooded mountains cut by deep rocky ravines.
